Wooroonooran National Park is located about an hour's drive south of Cairns. It offers stunning pristine rainforest with fantastic World Heritage attractions including Australia's most spectacular canopy walk. This area of unsurpassed beauty contains the 2 highest mountains in Queensland, numerous rivers, waterfalls, swimming holes and some of the World's lushest and most ancient rainforests. You can revitalise yourself in tranquil rainforest settings.

Tour Itinerary includes the following highlights in this sequence: 


Josephine Falls:
Josephine Falls is a secluded freshwater swimming hole, located at the foot of Queensland's tallest mountain, Mt. Bartle Frere (1622m). A series of waterfalls flow into large pools surrounded by boulders. Rainforest trees hang over the water, keeping it cool and refreshing. We take a short walk to a series of dramatic cascading waterfalls amidst the lush tropical rainforest. Take the plunge in the exciting natural rockslide (life vests are provided for children). 
 

Johnstone River Crocodile Farm
Cuddle a crocodile or a python for your souvenir photo. Join the amazing crocodile feeding show and take close-up photos of these ancient creatures. Hand feed kangaroos and emus, and meet the endangered cassowaries and dingos.

Roscoe's Restaurant:
Enjoy the finest lunch on a tour in North Queensland, an Australian-Italian buffet with a great variety of exquisite dishes. Outstanding dessert buffet! 

Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walkway
Experience one of Australia's grandest man-made structures in a natural environment. With its combination of a canopy walk high in the tree tops, an observation tower, viewing decks and cantilever, it brings you close to new unexplored spheres of the rainforest. Take in the exhilarating vistas of the Johnstone River gorge and amazing surrounding World Heritage landscapes.

Babinda Boulders:
We walk along a rainforest path to the magnificent, breath taking granite gorge created in millions of years and listen to the ancient Aboriginal legend about the creation of the Boulders. Learn about the evolution of one of the World's oldest rainforests.

Departure dates: English tour departs daily with a minimum of four people from Cairns with pick up from Cairns and Cairns Beaches included in the cost. Port Douglas return hotel transfers can be arranged at an extra cost. Advance bookings are highly recommended.
