Dunk Island is Australia's most beautiful tropical rainforest island. This island of peace and plenty offers an amazing variety of activities, facilities and experiences and suits a range of budgets.
With an enormous variety of activities to choose from, it's hard deciding what to do next. You could start the day with a rainforest walk and take in the spectacular views from the summit of Mt Kootaloo. After breakfast, explore one of the National Park walking trails through the rainforest and later perhaps a snorkel at Muggy Muggy Beach.
During lunch you can plan the afternoon ahead. Perhaps some water skiing followed by a game of tennis. Or should that be kayaking followed by squash? You've still got to fit in a trip to the Great Barrier Reef, horse riding on the beach, and some fishing! In between this frenzy of fun you'll still find time to relax and unwind.
To reward yourself, book a treatment at the Spa of Peace and Plenty, where you will be immersed in decadent therapies to relax and revitalise. You may also choose to take a sunset cruise and witness a spectacular sunset complimented by wine and cheese.
With a variety of dining options on offer at Dunk, you will never be short on choice. At the Beachcomber Restaurant you can enjoy your buffet breakfast with a view, plus the option of an la carte menu or buffet menu in the evening. The Terrace Restaurant features authentic Italian cuisine, tapas and pizza. The Jetty Café is casual and convenient and offers lunches daily and features fresh seafood cuisine that is fast and fresh.

Beachfront Suites
Situated beachside the rooms offer virtually uninterrupted views over Brammo Bay with direct access to the beach. Set in small groups of four units (two units upstairs, two downstairs), Beachfront Suites are bright and spacious with a king bed and a luxurious bathroom with a twin vanity.
The interior is split-level with the upper level featuring the sleeping area and a comfortable living area on the lower level. Rooms have a relaxed coastal feel with double glass doors leading onto a large balcony. Additional in-room amenities include CD Player, bathrobes and fully stocked mini bar. Interconnecting rooms are available.
Beachfront Rooms
Situated beachside with easy access to the beach, guests can enjoy views over Brammo Bay from most rooms. Upstairs rooms have balconies and down stairs rooms have a patio and lead onto the gardens and the beach. Rooms have a combined living and sleeping area and bathroom with combined bath and shower.
All rooms feature one king and one single day bed. Family configurations are available with two queen beds and one single day bed. Additional in-room amenities include bathrobes and fully stocked mini bar. Interconnecting rooms are available.
Garden Rooms
Set amongst tropical gardens, these rooms are a short stroll from the central complex, resort facilities and beach. Garden Rooms have a queen bed and single bed, ensuite with shower and a small outdoor patio or balcony. Family configurations are available.

Bedding Configurations:
Beachfront Suite 1 King bed, 1 single day bed
Beachfront Room 1 King bed, 1 single day bed
Family Beachfront Room 2 Queen beds, 1 single day bed
Garden Room 1 Queen bed, 1 single bed
Family Garden Room 1 Queen bed, 2 single beds
Extra adults: Maximum room capcity for each room type is 4 people. Extra person rates are applicable to anyone over 12 years, when sharing a room with a minimum of two adults. The extra person rate is $64 for 1-3 night stays, or $54 per night for 4 + nights stay.
Child Policy: Children 12 years and under stay free when using existing bedding and eat free at buffet restaurants or on the child menu only. Extra person rate applies if the child requires an extra rollaway bed.
Transfers:
Two flights a day depart from Cairns at a cost of $120 per adult or $60 per child each way. Flights take 45 minutes and depart Cairns at 12.15pm, 2.30pm. The flights depart Dunk Island bound for Cairns at 9.00am and 1.15pm.
