Green Island is a perfect holiday or romantic escape, located just 45 minutes by boat from Cairns, with golden sandy beaches and crystal clear waters.
With just 46 luxurious suites, you will discover an intimate haven. Suites are set in clusters under the rainforest canopy and they are cleverly secluded from the remainder of the island and day visitor facilities.
Green Island is home to 126 native plant species, a myriad of birdlife and surrounded by magnificent coral gardens. It is around 6000 years old and was formed by a build up of sand sediments, animal and coral deposits to above sea level. It is 15 hectares (approx 37 acres) in size and takes around 45 minutes to walk around.
The Resort itself represents one of the most environmentally sensitive tourist spots in the world, designed and built with extreme care to preserve the island's delicate environment.
Complementing the beauty of Green Island, the activities in this adventure playground are plentiful. You can do as much or as little as you please.

Reef Suite
The Reef Suites are split-level luxury suites with a large king size bed, spacious lounge area, separate bath, shower and private balcony. Maximum room capacity is 3. Room rate covers up to 2 people.
Island Suite
The Island Suites consist of a spacious guestroom with either twin or king rooms, some interconnecting. All rooms have separate showers and bath and a private balcony. Maximum room capacity is 3. Room rate covers up to 2 people.
