This 3 day tour package covers the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns Highlands including Paronella Park and the famous Kuranda Train and Skyrail. The tours are suitable for people of all ages and apart from the reef cruise which is walking distance from Cairns city hotels, you will be picked up and dropped off each and every day to your hotel, making it very convenient.

More Information:  The tours may be taken in any order you like and don’t need to be pre booked too far in advance. You have the option to have extra tours, or less tours with this very flexible package and there is no minimum number of people required. You can ask us to book a three, four or five star hotel as part of the package if you wish.

Inclusions and highlights:

Great Barrier Reef Pontoon tour - stroll down to the marina for your cruise to the outer edge of the reef where the floating platform/ pontoon awaits you. From there you’ll have the option to go snorkelling, or see the reef through a semi submarine coral viewing tour, or glass bottom boat, or underwater observatory or all of the above. Includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. There is also the option to try (at extra cost) a scenic helicopter ride above the reef, scuba diving or “Seawalker” to enhance your day out at the reef.

Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail - including Cairns pick up and all transport. This tour takes you on one of Australia’s most scenic, famous and historical train journeys from Cairns to Kuranda - the village in the rainforest. You’ll also experience the world’s longest gondola journey (7.5km) from Kuranda down to Cairns. Enroute in both directions you will see the famous Barron Falls and take in some amazing panoramic views from the rainforest to the sea.

Cairns Highlands Tour - including an informative guide, morning tea and lunch made from some of the finest local produce, visiting and cruising on the Volcanic crater Lake Barrine, short walks to 1000 year old Kauri Pine Trees, the Curtain Fig Tree, three rainforest waterfalls, a gorgeous castle ruin encounter with a mystical place called Paronella Park, cheese and yoghurt tasting direct from the local producer itself, historic townships and you’ll come away with amazing memories of stories and scenery from what we suggest be your last day in Cairns.

Return time:
Great Barrier Reef Pontoon tour: 5.30pm
Kuranda Scenic Train and Skyrail Tour: 4.30pm
Cairns Highlands Tour : 6.00pm

Pickup or Departure Point Details:
For day one, you can make your own way to the Cairns cruise terminal for check in. if you require hotel transfers from Cairns hotels it will cost $15 per person, and $20 per person from Cairns' beaches hotels.
For day two, return hotel transfers are included from Cairns hotels but from Cairns beaches hotels it will cost an extra $12 per adult and $6 per child.
For day 3, return hotel transfers from Cairns and Beaches are included.

Optional Extras:
10 minute Scenic Helicopter flight while at the reef = $148
10 minute introductory scuba dive = $120 or $180 for 2 dives
Seawalker Platform Helmet Dive = $135
40 minute certified Scuba Dive = $75 or $120 for 2 dives

What is not included:
Meals and drinks unless included in the day’s itinerary or features described above.

The dates you wish to do each tour. If no preference, we will book it in the order it appears above. That is the order that we recommend.

We can also book accommodation so please tell us where you wish to stay and we will offer you a package deal based on another hotel or resort.

Amendments to the dates of travel can be made with at least 48 hours notice.

Cancellation Policy:
·30 – 3 days prior to travel, a 25% cancellation fee applies
·Less than 3 days prior to travel, a 100% cancellation fee applies
A $50 per person administration fee applies to every cancellation greater than 30 days prior to the date of travel.
