This Cape Tribulation tour is perfect for the traveller on a limited budget as it covers all the main attractions of the Daintree and Cape Tribulation area at a price that everyone can afford. You'll travel in modern 24 seat air conditioned mini buses with DVD players and a great local friendly guide who will take you to all the places of interest in the Daintree National Park.

Departure Dates: This tour departs everyday except for 24, 25 December. Advance bookings are recommended. The tour includes hotel pick ups from Cairns, Cairns Beaches or Port Douglas hotels at between 7.30am- 8.30am and returns at between 6.00pm - 7.00pm. Your hotel pick up time is advised at the time of booking.

More Information about the tour:

Your action packed day begins at betwen 7.30am-8.30am and the tour bus will come to your holiday accomodation to pick you up. The day includes morning tea, a Daintree River Cruise, stops at the lookouts and rainforest boardwalks, lunch, and also includes a visit to the  Daintree Wilderness Sanctuary. Your day ends with a drop off back to your holiday accommodation at between 5pm - 6pm.

Your experienced guide will inform of the amazing diversity you will see when entering this 130 million-year-old rainforest. Your first stop is the Daintree River for morning tea before boarding the wildlife cruise – great opportunity to spot crocodiles in the wild, also keeping an eye out for the abundant bird life on this river system.

Meeting you on the other side of the river where the road narrows as we pass through some of the world’s oldest living rainforest. Your guide will give rainforest interpretation during a 45 minute guided walk at the Marrdja boardwalk. Be amazed at the huge diversity you will encounter, everything from low lying ferns and shrubs, to the massive rainforest canopy and even mangrove ecosystems all in one short easy walk.

A short drive further north and we arrive at Cape Tribulation for a sumptuous lunch followed by a relaxing walk along the beach. On our return trip we stop for a great photo opportunity at the Alexandra range Lookout before heading back across the Daintree River via cable ferry. The next stop if the Daintree Wilderness Sanctuary to check in on some native wildlife and then it is off to Mossman Gorge for a walk and a swim (optional), a Enjoy a scenic drive through Port Douglas seeing the marina, main street and along the esplanade to view a segment of 4 mile beach. Drop off to Port Douglas or Cairns hotels is included.
