This Great Barrier Reef diving or snorkel tour departing from Cairns is different to most of the others in that you start and finish your cruise on the same boat from day one to day three. The key point of difference compared to other similar length trips, is no changing over and transfering from one boat to another.
There is no doubt that the best way to really experience the Great Barrier Reef is to stay out there for a few days. You'll get much more time to relax and really enjoy yourself and ultimately more time for diving and snorkelling. It is also much better value than taking numerous day trips to the reef and coming back and paying for meals and accommodation in Cairns.
Departure Dates: You can start this tour any day of the year, except Tuesdays, however advance bookings are highly recommended. It departs Cairns at around 7.30am and returns to Cairns at around 4.30pm on the day of return. There is only 16 cabins on board and they are all twin share, so the maximum number of people per trip is 32.

As a snorkeller, you'll get to experience a large variety of fantastic outer reef locations. As a scuba diver, you'll get to participate in up to 11 dives, 9 day and 2 night.
There is 16 exclusive dive and snorkel sites on 4 different outer reef locations and you will visit a selection of these sites on every trip. These sites have been selected for their variety and quality of both coral and marine life as well as great visibility.
Three premium, purpose built, multi million dollar dive vessels provide the ideal way to stay out and experience what the reef has to offer. These vessels are 25 metres (80 feet) in length and feature 14 twin share and 2 double cabins with private amenities for every 2 cabins. The vessels are centrally air-conditioned, light and airy. There are 2 large decks, one for gear and one strictly for sun tanning and relaxing. These vessels are the only purpose built outer reef live aboards operating in the area.

Important Information:
Insufficient dive qualifications and/or some medical conditions may prevent you from diving. Prior to diving, you will be asked to complete a questionnaire regarding your diving qualifications, experience & current fitness to dive. Should you answer yes to any of the medical question asked you will be required to consult a doctor to acquire a written medical clearance to dive prior to your dive trip. If you are unsure about a specific medical condition please check with your doctor or with us prior to making your reservation.
Flying After Diving: We recommend that you do not fly for at least 24 hours after your last dive. Your last dive will be completed by midday on day 3 of your trip.
