This seven night Cairns beaches holiday package has been specifically been designed for seniors, based on what seniors tell us they liked best. The accommodation featured in this package is somewhere that anyone would like to stay at with sweeping 180 degree ocean views from the apartment balconies. You have the option to self cater or dine at one of the beach front cafes and restaurants.

Highlights Itinerary and Inclusions:
Your seven nights accommodation is at one of the ocean view studio apartments at Amaroo at Trinity. These apartments have great ocean views and you can even self cater if you feel like "eating in", at any stage during your holiday.
Day 1: Transfer from either the Cairns airport or the train or bus stations in Cairns to your accommodation is included if pre booked. The rest of your day is free to explore Trinity Beach and stock your fridge for your week's stay.
Day 2: See the Sights in and around Cairns: At around 12pm, you will be picked up for your Cairns city sights + tour which is an excellent orientation tour of Cairns, plus it includes a very good visit to the Botanical Gardens and the Royal Flying Doctor Visitors centre. Your tour ends at around 6pm and includes hotel pick up and drop off and an afternoon tea and scones.
Day 3: A day at leisure to do as you please. You might want to hire a car (at own expense) or you might want to catch a local bus somewhere, or just relax at the beach.
Day 4: Cairns Highlands Tour: A pick up at around 7.30am takes you to the spectacular Atherton Tablelands where you will view Volcanic Cater Lakes, World Heritage Rainforests, the amazing Curtain Fig Tree, and a Spanish castle ruin called "Paronella Park". Along the way you will take in some great scenery and might see some of our Australian Wildlife. This tour includes morning and afternoon tea, a two course lunch and the Lake Barine cruise and returns to your accommodation at around 5.45pm.
Day 5: Reef Island Tour: A full day reef cruise departing Cairns at 9.00am allows 5 hours on Green Island and arrives back in Cairns at 5.00pm. Travel time to Green Island is just over one hour from Cairns. Passengers can take part in the many activities available or simply relax on the beach. Green Island is a beautiful coral cay on Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Green Island is a Marine National Park with unique rainforests, surrounded by white sandy beaches and magnificent coral reefs and abundant marine life. Your tour includes pick up and drop off, a semi submarine coral viewing tour, snokelling gear or glass bottom boat tour, and buffet lunch.
Day 6: Kuranda Train and Skyrail Tour: Pick up from your accommodation at around 7.30am. Travel to Kuranda is aboard the famous Kuranda Scenic Railway. Enjoy free time to explore Kuranda's attractions and shops. Visit Rainforestation where you will experience an amphibious Army Duck tour of the rainforest, koala & wildlife park and the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dancers and Dreamtime Walk. Return to Cairns is on Skyrail where you will glide silently over the Rainforest canopy. Lunch is at your own expense on this day. (Order of Train & Skyrail may change). Returns to your accommodation at around 5.00pm.
Day 7: Sunset Cruise on Cairns Calm water harbour: This day is yours free to shop, relax or take another tour if you so desired. You could catch the local "Sunbus" into Cairns city (at own expense) and be there in around 25 minutes. At 5.30pm, you have a one and a half hour Sunset cruise booked on the Cairns inlet. This includes a welcome drink and great views of Cairns by twilight - a really memorable way to end your stay in Cairns. Return to your accommodation is by the local "Sunbus" at own expense, at your leisure.
Day 8: Check out time is 10.00am. You will also receive a complimentary transfer from your accommodation to either the Cairns airport, train or bus station if pre booked.

This package is ideal suited to senior couples or singles.
Extra nights can be added for $130 per night in the low season or $165 in high season.
Booking Policy
Amendments to the dates of travel can be made with at least 48 hours notice.
Cancellation Policy:
·30 – 3 days prior to travel, a 25% cancellation fee applies
·Less than 3 days prior to travel, a 100% cancellation fee applies
A $50 per person administration fee applies to every cancellation greater than 30 days prior to the date of travel.
