This Great Barrier Reef tour is both low-priced and one of the nicest ways to visit the reef. When the winds are right, you will both sail and snorkel at Great Barrier Reef! The yacht is able to cruise out to the reef reasonably quickly and you will spend at least four hours at the Great Barrier Reef and there are also very well priced scuba diving options. There are no glass bottom boats tours here so this is a tour for people who are willing and able to snorkel or scuba dive in order to see the reef and corals.
Departure Dates: Departs at 8:30am daily from Cairns Marlin Jetty. Returns to Cairns at 5pm. Advance bookings are highly recommended.

A 25% deposit payment is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable on the day of the tour when you get on board. Please note: The Government Environmental Management Charge along with other levies is included in the below rates.
More Information/ Basic Itinerary
Oyster Reef is your first destination and it is exclusively yours to discover. Oyster Reef is clear, shallow and teeming with marine life; it is out of this world. Once you have done your first dive you can continue on snorkeling to make the most of this truly beautiful reef.
Your second destination is Upolu Reef which is just as magical with Moray Eels to check out, Giant Clams, lots of marine life including turtles, and there is a chance to try another scuba dive if you enjoyed the first one, for just an extra $45.

A "Family" price is for 2 adults and 2 children aged between 4 and 14 years. Child age eligibiity is 4 - 14 years.

Coach transfers from Cairns city hotels is $20 per person, and from Beaches hotels it is $36 per person.
Regarding Scuba Diving:
Some medical conditions will prevent you from diving. Some of the more common conditions are Asthma, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Pregnancy, and heart or lung conditions. Some other medical conditions may also be a problem. If you are unsure about any specific condition please contact us.
Minimum age for diving is 12 years. Second dives subject to availability. All divers must complete a medical questionnaire on board before diving.
