This tour is the only one of its kind in that it visits Green Island and the Outer Barrier Reef, all in the same day! Departing from the Cairns Marina at 8.30am each day and taking just 45 minutes to get to Green Island, you will enjoy two hours free time at Green Island before another 45 minute boat ride to an outer reef pontoon for three hours of free time at the reef.

Departure Dates: This Cairns Reef Cruise departs EVERYDAY from the Cairns Marina at 8.30am. Returns to Cairns at 5.30pm. Advance bookings are recommended, particularly for optional extras like helicopter flights and Scuba Doo.

A Government Environmental Management Charge of $5.50 per person is included in the below rates. Advance bookings are highly recommended.  A 25% deposit payment is required at the time of booking this trip and after we have received your deposit payment we will email you back a tour booking confirmation receipt, which is all you need to present on the day of travel, along with payment by of the balance owing which is accepted in cash or by credit card.

There are some optional extra tours that cost a little more and should be pre booked to enhance your day at the reef including scuba diving, Scuba Doo underwater motorised bike, and guided snorkel tours with a marine naturalist.

Scenic helicopter flights are also a popular option for seeing the reef from a birds eye view. Helicopter options range from 10 minute scenic flights departing from the outer reef itself, or you can exchange one way or both ways on the cruise from Cairns to the reef and vice versa, for a helicopter flight that will leave you in awe of how beautiful the reef is! You will be talking about it for years to come!

A "Family" is classed as two adults and two children. The child age for this tour is 4 - 14 years. Infants under the age of four, can travel free with their parents or guardians.
