The "Minjin" Jungle Swing was designed and built in 2000 as a way for one, two or three people to experience EXTREME speed and acceleration on a swing together. The Minjin is a multi-person swing where you fall from 45 meters in height down to just 1 meter in 3.5 seconds reaching speeds of up to 120km/ph. But don’t think this is a show ground ride, you have the control. At the top while lying horizontally you need to pull the self-release to start your Swing! Feel the rainforest close in and around you as you fly, don’t close your eyes at the bottom because an action photo is being taken! There are height restrictions of at least 120cm and above and weight between 55kg (solo) and 240kg for the riders. People of all ages can participate in this Minjin Jungle swing. The swings are arranged four times a day in morning, midday and mid afternoon every day.
Departure Dates: Daily except for Christmas Day - You can make your own way to the bungy tower or be picked up from any Cairns or Cairns Beaches accommodation for free, but bookings are highly recommended because you may have to wait for a while if you don't book in advance. Free Cairns hotel pick up times: 9:00am, 1:00pm & 3:00pm. Free Cairns northern beaches hotel pick up times: 09:55am or 11:55am.
How to book: A 25% deposit will secure your place with the balance payable on the day of travel. People staying in Port Douglas can make their own way or we can arrange bus transfers at extra cost. Port Douglas Pick up times: 8am, 10.15am or 1.30pm. $36 per person extra.
