This Great Barrer Reef trip heads to Norman Reef via Cairns; chose between Cruising there and back, or flying there or back by Helicopter and enjoying all the fantastic views enroute.

Departure Dates: Daily except Christmas Day subject to availability of the helicopter (helicopter options). Advance bookings are recommeded as the helicopter only seats six people. It will run with a minimum of 2 people however enquiries are welcome for just one person. The tour is ex Marlin Marina Cairns and does not include hotel transfers; please advise the name of your hotel once you have decided where you will stay and we can advise you the best way to get to the Marina to rendezvous with your cruise boat or helicopter.

How to book: You can book online via the rates table's "Add to Itinerary" button. A 25% deposit payment is required at the time of booking and the balance can be paid on the day of travel when you check in. Please advise approximate body weights for each person at the time of booking (helicopter options).

Norman Reef pontoon offers many ways to see the Reef - snorkel and swim or stay dry and partake in the semi-submarine tour and visit the underwater observatory.

From the comfort of the stable reef activity platform, this is the perfect base for swimmers and non-swimmers to explore. Snorkel and dive, visit the underwater observatory and cruise in a semi-sub, or just relax on the sundeck with a delicious buffet lunch.

If you are chosing to travel both ways to the Norman Reef Pontoon by boat, the boat departs at 10.30 am and returns at 5.30pm The cruise each ways is approximately 90 minutes travel by boat. Your tour includes a delicious buffet lunch, snorkelling and semi-submersible tour and allows around three hours free time.

The Cruise/Fly Itinerary is as follows:

Depart approximately 10.30 am on your cruise vessel ex Marlin Marina Cairns for a 90 minute trip to the the Norman Reef Pontoon. Arrive at the pontoon at approx. 12.30pm. Includes all pontoon inclusions as per the all cruise tour. Your helicopter departs Norman Reef Pontoon approximately 3.15pm for 3.40pm arrival in Cairns (approx).

The Fly/ Cruise Itinerary is as follows:

Depart Marlin Marina at approx. 12.30pm for a 20 minute scenice flight to Norman Reef (Pontoon). You'll arrive at approx. 12.55pm.Your tour includes all pontoon inclusions as per the all cruise itinerary. Depart the Outer Reef Pontoon by fast catamaran at around 3.30pm. The cruise takes around 90 minutes returning to Cairns around 5.30pm.

The approximate body weight for each passenger. Passenger weight restrictions apply for the helicopter tour. Any passenger over 110kg will incur a surcharge because there will be less seats sold on that tour.
