This Great Barrer Reef package combines the best features of the Great Barrier Reef Pontoon tours with the excitement and spectular scenery of a helicopter flight. You have a choice of flying one way to the reef with a late start or around 11.30am, or, you can chose to Cruise to the outer reef pontoon and fly back early to Cairns.
Departure Dates: Daily except Christmas Day subject to availability of the helicopter. Advance bookings are recommeded as the helicopter only seats six people. It will run with a minimum of 2 people however enquiries are welcome for just one person. Pick up and drop off to holiday accommodation from Cairns to Palm Cove is inclusive. Please advise the name of your hotel once you have decided where you will stay.

A 25% depsoit payment is required at the time of booking and the balance can be paid on the day of travel when you check in. Please advise approximate body weights for each person at the time of booking.

This action packed tour combines an exhilarating 20 minute helicopter scenic flight over beautiful coral formations to or from the multi-storey Outer Reef Pontoon. You'll have plenty of time to explore the reef either through snorkelling or without even getting your feet wet via the semi submarine coral view ing tours or underwater observatory.
The Cruise/ Fly Itinerary is as follows: (Choice of 10am or 10.30am cruise departure)
- Pick up from your holiday accommodation at between 8am-9am
- Depart on your choice of catamaran at 10am or 10.30am bound for the Moore Reef multi-storey Outer Reef pontoon. The cruise takes around 90 minutes.
- Arrives at the pontoon at 12pm or 12.30pm. Includes delicious buffet lunch, snorkelling and semi-submersible tour and allows around three hours free time.
- Helicopter departs the pontoon at approximately 3pm - 3.30pm. 20 minute flight back to Cairns to the Cairns helipad.
- Transfer from the heilpad back to your Cairns accommdoation at between 4pm-4.30pm.
The Fly/ Cruise Itinerary is as follows: (Choice of 12pm or 12.30pm Helicopter departure)
- Pick up from your holiday accommodation at between 10.30am-11.30am.
- Deaprt Cairns Helipad by 12pm or 12.30pm.
- Arrives at Pontoon at 12.30pm or 1.00pm. Includes delicious buffet lunch, snorkelling and semi-submersible tour and allows around three hours free time.
- Depart the Outer Reef Pontoon by fast catamaran at around 3.45pm. The cruise takes around 90 minutes.
- Returns to Reef Fleet Terminal in Cairns at 5.30pm
- Drop off to your holiday accommodation at between 5.45pm-6.15pm.

The approximate body weight for each passenger. Passenger weight restrictions apply for the helicopter tour. Any passenger over 110kg will incur a $90 surcharge because there will be less seats sold on that tour.
