This tour is designed to show you the main things people come to expect to see when they visit the Daintree National Park. Port Douglas, the Daintree River, Wildlife, Rainforest and Cape Tribulation beach, where the rainforest meets the reef. On this tour, you'll spend most amount of free time at Cape Tribulation compared to any other tour. You'll travel in modern 22 seat air conditioned mini buses and a great local friendly guide who will take you to all these places of interest in the Daintree National Park.

Departure Dates: This tour departs every day of the year, except for 25 Dec. Pick up from Cairns hotels begins at around 6.40am, Cairns Beaches hotels at around 7.30am and Port Douglas Hotels at around 8.30am. The tours return to Port Douglas hotels at around 5pm, Cairns Beaches hotels at around 5.30pm, and Cairns hotels at around 6pm.

11.30AM : Arrive at Cape Tribulation Beach (2hr+)
12.00PM : Lunch at a Cape Trib Beach Resort (Deluxe PAK ONLY)
2.00PM : Maardja Boardwalk (30min)
3.00PM : Daintree River Wildlife Cruise (1hr)
5.00PM : Port Douglas Drop Offs

After being picked up from your Cairns accommodation starting around 6:40am we will travel by air-conditioned vehicles via one of the most renowned scenic coastal roads in Australia, the World Heritage Listed Captain Cook Highway. Our first stop is Port Douglas, where the Starter PAK passengers will have free time to relax, visit the beach or explore the cafes and shops. Those who have purchased the Deluxe PAK option will spend their time at the Rainforest Habitat getting up close to many of Australia Native wildlife like Kangaroos, Crocodiles and the Koala.

Our journey continues north, crossing the Daintree River by cable ferry, and into the Cape Tribulation section of the Daintree National Park. Again the Deluxe Option will provide a delicious chef prepared lunch at Cape Trib Beach House, and swim in the private pool.

After lunch you will be taken on a rainforest walk in the heart of the Cape Tribulation National Park, at the Marrdja Botanical Walk. Here your guide will share the secrets of the rainforest, its food, medicines and history.
The journey returns us to the Daintree River where we enjoy a wildlife cruise on the Daintree River, searching for crocodiles, birds and other mangrove wildlife in their natural habitat. Returning to your Port Douglas accommodation at approx 5pm, or your Cairns accommodation approx 6pm.
