Day 1: Cairns to Mission Beach
On the Atherton Tablelands visit the Cathederal Fig Tree. Short hikes, swimming and lunch at Lake Eacham. Swim under Milla Milla Falls and check out Zillie Falls in the afternoon. Arrive in Mission Beach, camp in comfort and enjoy a real Aussie BBQ.
Day 2: Mission Beach to Magnetic Island
Start the day with a healthy tropical breaky.
We follow the coast to Cardwell and stop for great views of Hinchinbrook Island. Then head inland to Wallaman Falls for lunch and further south for a swim at Crystal Creek and Jourama Falls. Jump on the ferry in Townsville for Magnetic Island, home of the crazy full moon parties and our second night in hostel accomodation
Day 3: Magnetic Island to Cairns
Wake up early (it’s worth it) to explore some of the island’s many short hikes. Breakfast is included. Mabye spot a koala or just relax in a cafe or on the beach. Magnetic island has something for everyone. Back on the ferry to Townsville early afternoon for the journey back to Cairns.
Departs: Mondays and Thursday's at 9am. Advance bookings are highly recommended. A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking.
