Experience everything the Cape has to offer on this 14 day all overland camping safari. Travelling over 14 days grants that little more time to fit in a few extra sites and an extra day at Twin Falls. You'll travel in air-conditioned comfort with no more than 16 passengers per tour.

How to Book: A 20% deposit payment is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due at least seven weeks prior to departure. This trip is very popular and should be booked as far in advance as is possible. Bookings made within seven weeks of the travel date must be paid in full within 72 hours.

Tour Itinerary: All fares include meals as per itinerary code: (B) Breakfast, (L) Lunch and (D) Dinner. All camping and accommodation costs and entrance fees as per itinerary. Twin share tents with camp strecher beds, sleeping bags and solid mattresses are provided to all passengers on this camping safari.
Day 1 (LD) Travel through Mareeba and the Palmer River area famous for its gold rush glory days then onto Lakelands Downs. On to Quinkan country and view Aboriginal rock art at Split Rock. A brief stop at Laura, then onto Hann River to make camp for the night.
Day 2 (BLD) This morning drive to historic Musgrave Telegraph Station, then on to Coen. Camp Overnight at the Archer River Roadhouse.
Day 3 (BLD) Today we drive the OTT and cross many crystal clear creeks. We traverse open woodlands country pass huge termite mounds and make camp by one of the many creeks that cross the OTT.
Day 4 (BLD) Another exciting day of creek crossings leads us to the Jardine River which is renowned for its crocodiles. We cross it by Ferry ! Shortly after we arrive at Loyalty Beach our Cape York base camp.
Day 5 (BLD) Choose an optional tour day today (own expense). You might travel by inter island ferry to Thursday Island or Horn Island or take a flight over the Torres Straits. Alternatively relax by the beach at loyalty.
Day 6 (BLD) Celebrate as you stand on the Northern tip of the Cape York peninsular. Pass through dense rainforest and stroll along deserted beaches on the way.
Day 7 (BLD) After a brief stop in Bamaga travel to Twin Falls on the magnificent Elliot River. Camp overnight at Twin Falls.
Day 8 (BLD) Relax, swim and explore spectacular Indian Head Falls, Elliot Falls and Twin Falls. A beautiful area, the jewel of the Cape York Peninsular and your camp for tonight.
Day 9 (BLD) Travel through Heathlands Reserve and lunch at Captain Billy Landing. Overnight camp at Bramwell Station Australia’s Northern most cattle station.
Day 10 (BLD) Arrive at Weipa around lunch time. Mine and Town tour (Optional) or just relax at our Weipa camp.
Day 11 (BLD) Visit the Peninsula quarantine station and Coen on route to our camp at Musgrave Station
Day 12 (BLD) Experience Lakefield National Park and its abundant wildlife. Camp over night in the National Park.
Day 13 (BLD) Visit Historic Old Laura Homestead. Then arrive at Cooktown in time to visit the James Cook Historical museum (own expense). Camp in Cooktown
Day 14 (BLD) View Cooktown from Grassy Hill, then onto the Black Mountains and stop by at the Lions Den Pub. If track conditions permit venture onto the notorious Bloomfield track visiting Bloomfield falls and Cape Tribulation before returning to Cairns in the late afternoon.

Extra Large Single Camp stretchers are included for every passenger.
All camping equipment including freshly dry-cleaned sleeping bags and linen are also included. All tour activities and transfers unless marked as optional are included.

Booking Policy
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations received more than 45 days prior to departure are subject to a $100 per person fee.
Cancellations between 45 and 30 days will forfeit their deposit.
Cancellations between 30 and 21 days are subject to a 50% refund.
Cancellations 21 days or less are subject to no refund whatsoever.
