Join an experienced guide for an exciting adventure in the jungle! Search for the sometimes elusive wildlife including Boyds Forest Dragons, Water Dragons, Snakes, Bandicoots, Frogs, Native Rodents, Birds and of course Crocodiles! The Nightwalk takes about 2.5 hours to complete and is taken on a private jungle walking trails. These trails are situated on private property at Cape Tribulation, north of Port Douglas and Cairns in Far North Queensland, Australia. The property has a 2km boundary with the Daintree National Park and the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area to the west and a 1km boundary with the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park to the east.

You will be shown the REAL jungle, not concrete paths or boardwalks. Flashlights, raincoats and repellant are supplied to each walker. The friendly local guides are qualified in off-road driving and first aid. Each Nightwalk looks at a variety of habitats from creekbanks to mangroves and goes right inside the rainforest. As you pass through different habitats, you will hopefully encounter different wildlife.
Only on this tour can you spot for crocs on foot at night! At least once, everyone will turn all the torch lights off to really experience the ‘dark side of the Daintree’. Wildlife sightings vary enormously from night to night, but it is rare to see nothing. Common sightings include crocodiles or croc eyes, forest dragons, snakes, birds, frogs, insects and spiders. Sightings can not be guaranteed.
