With a selection of horses catering for the absolute beginner to the experienced competitive rider, this is truly your ultimate ride. Feel the freedom as you walk, trot or canter your horse along a stretch of deserted beach without a care in the world.
Departure Dates: Departs twice daily. The Morning tour starts at 8.30am and returns at 11.30am. The Afternoon Tour departs at 2.30pm and returns at 5.30pm. Advance bookings are highly recommended.
How to book: A 10% deposit payment is required to secure your place. The balance is payable on the day of travel. There is a $10 per person pay on the day, not included in the rates below.

We provide you with comprehensive tuition prior to your ride and match you up with a horse to suit your riding ability. We have 2 rides daily - a morning ride and an afternoon ride - and the actual riding time for each is approximately 2.5 hours.
* Morning Ride: Pick ups commence in Port Douglas at 7:50am. If self driving you will need to be at our stables by 8:20am. The ride returns at approximately 11:30am, having you back at your Port Douglas accommodation by 12:15pm. (Port Douglas hotel bus transfers are $10 per person extra)
* Afternoon Ride: Pick ups commence in Port Douglas at 1:45pm. If self driving you will need to be at our stables by 2:20pm. The ride returns at approximately 5:30pm, having you back at your Port Douglas accommodation by 6:15pm. (Port Douglas hotel bus transfers are $10 per person extra)
You are provided with boots, helmets and appropriate clothing (if required), and we will allocate you a horse to suit your level of riding experience. We supply water bottles on the ride and an assortment of soft drinks on your return.
Maximum group size is 15 and we follow a ratio of one guide to every six riders. Once at the beach the group is broken up into smaller groups according to levels of riding experience. This is to ensure that the experienced riders are given the freedom to go for a really good canter along the beach and the beginner riders are given further tuition and guidance to make their riding experience as enjoyable as possible.

A maximum rider weight restriction of 105kg (236lbs) applies
Shuttle bus transfers from Cairns and beaches hotels are $30 extra per person.
