How to Book: A 20% deposit payment is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due at least seven weeks prior to departure. This trip is very popular and should be booked as far in advance as is possible. Bookings made within seven weeks of the travel date must be paid in full within 72 hours. The minimum number of people per trip required for the trip to run is 6. The maximum number is 16.

Tour Itinerary:

Ride the infamous Creb Track through to the Lions Den Hotel and Cooktown. Explore Cape Flattery, Lakefield National Park and Old Musgrave Telegraph Station. Ride the famous old telegraph line and visit Twin Falls and WWII aircraft crash sites.

Enjoy all this whilst camping out under the stars and having a chance to catch a fish along the way. This adventure will satisfy everyone!

Visit private property exclusive to Fair Dinkum Bike Tours. All ages can experience the Famous CREB track through to the Lion’s Den pub and on to Cooktown. Riding the Cape Flattery sand dunes and Lakefield National Park. Visit Old Musgrave telegraph station, the infamous Telegraph track and Twin Falls. Stand at the Top of Australia. Visit WW2 aircraft crash sites and a chance to go fishing.

Q. Are the hire bikes the latest model?
A. All hire motorcycles are current model Suzuki DRZ 400cc with our specific modifications.

Q. What do I need to bring with me?
A. Bring your clothes and toiletries in a small overnight bag for use on the first night. . A back pack and hydration pack (such as a Camelbak) is essential. If supplying your own bike you will need a small, but well equipped repair pack containing basic tools for minor repairs to your own bike and a few spares like tube, levers, spark plugs, chain link and a pump.

Q. Do I need a motorcycle licence?
A. Yes. You must have a current motorcycle rider’s license (Australian or International).

Q. Can I bring my own bike?
A. Yes. All brands are welcome but bikes must be street legal, in good working order, well muffled and fitted with good tyres with heavy duty tubes. You should carry a few spare parts with you too, such as tubes, levers, spark plugs, chainlink and a pump.

Q. Is riding gear supplied with the hire bike?
A. Yes, we supply all gear. If you prefer to bring your own, you’ll need, as a bare minimum:

a good helmet

pants

gloves

knee and elbow guards

goggles

boots
