Cooktown and Cape York » 7 Day Cape York Tour - Fly North, Drive South - Small Group 4WD Camping Tour (Code: WCCY07SC)
Type: Tours - Cape York Camping Tours
Travelling on safari in small groups of between 4 - 13 people, this Cape York tour starts with a flight from Cairns to Cape York and by the day's end you will have walked to the very tip of Australia! In seven days and six nights you will explore the beauty of the flora and fauna of Iron Range National Park (conditions permitting), Daintree National Park, and explore the history and aboriginal culture of Cape York. Nicknamed, the "explorer" tour, it is important to note, this tour does not visit Weipa or Lakefield National Park - you need to join the 14 day small group camping tour to do this part of Cape York. If you want to spend more time at Cape York itself, you can fly up a day or two early and join the tour later, making your own arrangements until the tour begins.
Cape York Peninsula … one of Australia's last great wilderness regions extends 1000 kilometres north of Cairns. And… you'll feel the emotion and pride when you stand at the very Top of Australia!
Departure Dates Remaining in 2010: All tours are guaranteed to depart on the follow dates with a minimum of four passengers and road conditions permitting.
