A late afternoon start to see platypus, wallabies, tree-kangaroos, birds and turtles. Dinner at a beautiful riverside rainforest setting, before exploring typical Australian eucalyptus country looking for wallabies, kangaroos, possums, gliders & a range of other wildlife. An off-road ascent into the high-altitude cloud-forests where we encounter the highest diversity of wildlife in Australia, including species only found here.
Departure Dates: This tour is not operating until again until possibly mid 2012. This tour departs everyday except for 25 December. Advance bookings are recommended. The tour includes hotel pick ups from Cairns, or Cairns Beaches hotels at between 3.30pm - 4pm and returns at between 10.30pm - 11pm. Your hotel pick up time is advised at the time of booking.
How to book: You can book online (see below) via the rates table's "Add to itinerary" button, or, call to book on + 61 7 4036 3562 from overseas or 1800 681 685 (free call) from within Australia to book. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable on the day of travel. Your ticket will be emailed to you shortly after we receive your booking request. We don't suggest waiting till you get here to book this tour.

Typical sightings on the Night Wildlife Safari may include platypus, a variety of wallabies and kangaroos including tree-kangaroos, grey kangaroos & the endangered northern bettong, a number of possums including rare tropical
species, gliders, bandicoots, the endangered northern quoll, echidna, pythons, frogs, bats and birds including owls, frogmouths and curlews.
Seeing these unique animals in their natural habitat makes the Night Wildlife Safari a must-have experience during your time in tropical north Queensland.

Cancellations at any time will incur a 25% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 48hrs of travel could incur a 50 - 100% cancellation charge.
