This is the only Cairns sailing tour that visits both Green Island and Pinnacle reef in the same day. This yacht only caters for small guest numbers. Experience a relaxed day with a guaranteed 4 1/2 hours on the Reef & Green Island. There is no rush in experiencing the two snorkel and scuba diving sites.

Departure Dates: Daily at 8am from the Cairns Marina, with pick up from Cairns and Cairns Beaches hotels, availabile at extra cost. Advance bookings are highly recommended.

Basic Itinerary/ More Information:

After leaving Cairns, and as long as there is wind around, you can assist with the hoisting of the sails and after an introductory safety brief - you can just kick back and enjoy the motor sail to Green Island on the Great Barrier Reef.

For those of you wishing to scuba dive the paperwork and briefs are completed during the journey out, so when we arrive at The Great Barrier Reef you are ready to dive! Your first destination, Pinnacle Reef is just 700 metres away from Green island! Upon arrival at Pinnacle Reef, the boat is greeted by schools of spangled emperors, yellow tailed fusiliers, parrot fish and giant trevally.

For those people out there who perhaps think diving is not for them - come and give it a go! You may surprise yourself! It also doesn't cost you anything to try - if you jump in and realise it's not for you simply jump out and you don't pay a cent.

Following the morning's snorkeling and scuba diving you feast on a delicious smorgasbord lunch.

After lunch transfers to Green Island begin – look out for turtles on the way!

After over 4 hours on the Great Barrier Reef we set sail for Cairns (Wind Permitting).

Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine with your tropical afternoon tea (fruit, cheese & cake) a perfect finale to a day of snorkeling and diving on the Great Barrier Reef. We arrive back in Cairns between 5:00–5:30pm, with the sun setting in the hills behind Cairns — Beautiful!

What is not included:
Inner City hotel bus transfers are $10 per person. Outer City and Northern Beaches hotel bus transfers are $15 per person.

Booking Policy

People who have asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, heart issues or some other medical conditions may not be allowed to do an introductory dive.
