This Frankland Island Experience tour is the only tour operator licenced to visit the untouched beauty of the Frankland Islands. The vessel takes up to a maximum of 100 passengers which ensures your day on the reef is both service and safety orientated. Your day begins with a morning cruise along the Mulgrave river. From the mouth of the river your destination on the Great Barrier Reef is already in sight, making it the shortest open sea crossing in North Queensland. Normanby Island is one of the five stunning islands that comprise the Frankland Islands.

Departure Dates:  Daily, from Deeral, 45 mins drive south of Cairns. Pick up from Cairns and Cairns Beaches hotels, available at extra cost of $16 per person. Advance bookings are highly recommended. Hotel pick up times: Cairns 7.30am, Northern Beaches 7.15am, Palm Cove 7.00am. Hotel drop off times: Cairns 5.15pm
Northern Beaches 5.45pm, Palm Cove 5.55pm.

More Information: The island’s pristine waters are a coral haven for snorkelling and diving. Visitors share the immaculate reef with green sea turtles, tropical fish and giant clams. Leisurely island walks take you through rainforests, rock pools and along secluded sandy beaches. You can also satisfy your appetite when you dine under a canopy of trees with a tropical buffet lunch including prawns, fresh salads and tropical fruits.

There are two options for you to choose from:

Option 1: The All inclusive cruise trip includes: Semi Submersible glass bottom boat coral viewing tour, Guided Snorkelling Tour, Guided Island Walk, Snorkelling equipment, Fresh Tropical Lunch (Includes Prawns).

Option 2: The Full Day Cruise Snorkelling OR Glass Bottom Boat includes: Snorkelling equipment OR Semi Submersible glass bottom boat coral viewing tour, and Fresh Tropical Lunch (Includes Prawns).

If you don't take the ALL inclusive Option, you can select any of the following to add to option 2:

(1) Semi Submersible glass bottom boat coral viewing tour $19 per adult, $10 per child

(2) Guided Snorkelling Tour $29 per adult, $10 per child

(3) Guided Island Walk $19 per adult, $10 per child

People who have asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, heart issues or some other medical conditions may not be allowed to do an introductory dive.
