This is one of the favourite Kuranda tours for families or anyone who is a big kid at heart. This tour option combines the famous Kuranda Scenic Rail and Skyrail Cableway, with some free time in Kuranda village and the famous army duck rainforest tour. Pick up and drop offs are available to most Cairns and Cairns beaches holiday accommodation as well as most Port Douglas hotels.

Departure Dates: This tour operates everyday of the year except for the following dates due to maintenance, or closure of either the Train or Skyrail parts of the tour: 3/4 Nov, 8/9, 19/20 & 25 Dec.

Times: This trip begins from your hotel at between 7-8am, you catch the Skyrail up at around 8.30am, take the 12 noon army duck tour and catch the 2pm train back to Cairns. The bus then drops you off to Cairns hotels by 4.15pm and Port Duglas hotels by 6pm.

A 25% deposit payment is required at the time of booking. The balance is payable on the day of travel. Your ticket will be emailed to you shortly after your booking request and deposit payment has been received.

Optional Extra: Why not Upgrade to a Gold Class Seat on the Train: $50 per person or $200 per family. Includes more space, individual seats, drinks, finger food, a gold class train attendant, and a few bonus extra goodies to complete the splendid KSR Gold Class experience.
