The full day Russell river rafting tour consists of sports rafts that carry two passengers and are group guided under strict river guide supervision. Guides will provide the necessary instructions and river knowledge to allow you to enjoy the personal challenge of sports rafting in safety. Numbers are limited to ensure personalised service and maximum fun.
Departure Dates: Daily with a
minimum of 4 adults and river water levels permitting. Advance bookings
are recommended.

This rafting tour entails share carrying of the equipment through the rainforest for about 30 - 40 minutes to the river. Rafting on the Russell River is perfect for beginners and no experience is necessary but you do need to have a little bit of fitness.
You will enjoy 3 hours of white water rafting in this remote location, the white water rapids here are grade 3 to 4 so they will certainly keep you entertained. During the day you probably will not see anyone else but your group, this is a true Cairns white water rafting wilderness experience! Pick-up from Cairns is at 9.00am with a 5.30pm drop off. Pick-up from Port Douglas is 8.00am with a 6.30pm drop off. This tour requires a minimum of 4 people to run and the minimum age is 13 years old.
