Come and experience the spectacular outer Great Barrier Reef without the crowds! With a maximum of just 10 passengers and an attentive crew of 3, you can enjoy a more personal reef experience, exclusive to a small group. Enjoy 3 Days/2 Nights aboard a 60' traditional-style wooden vessel, reminiscent of the gaff rigged schooners of the 1800s. Her beautiful lines will give you the unique feeling of nostalgia, adventure, & romance.
Departure Dates: 8am on Monday (returns 4.30pm Wednesday) & 8am on Friday (returns 4.30pm Sunday), subject to a minimum of four people. It is a very good idea to book in advance.

More Information/ Basic Itinerary:
The pristine outer reef sites we go to are not visited by the masses and have been chosen for their unique coral formations and abundant marine life. Without a real rigid schedule, we allow you to go at your own pace and to be as active or as relaxed as you like. Whether you are an avid diver or looking to experience diving for the very first time, both certified and introductory dives are available. For the beginner or diver that needs a refresher, the smaller groups provide a fun setting where the utmost attention is paid to your safety and ensuring that you get the most value and enjoyment from your experience. If you are a more advanced diver you’ll be able to explore and discover the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef without a large number of other divers surrounding you. To challenge you as a diver we provide the option for night dives, drift dives, swim-throughs, as well as following ravines and canyons.
Diving not your thing or perhaps you are traveling with a partner who doesn't dive? Because of the magnificent clear waters, snorkelling is also an excellent way to experience the reef, and you can enjoy it at all of the sites we visit. Join in and help sail the boat or just ‘supervise’ from the sundeck. Our friendly and experienced crew will pay every attention to your comfort and well-being, to help make sure that you return from your holiday with great memories to last a lifetime… and quite often some new friends. Join a maximum of ten passengers for three days and two nights of snorkeling and sailing aboard this 20 meter/65 foot classic sail boat. This is the only three day sailing adventure in Cairns and to see the Great Barrier Reef on a yacht with a small group of people is something extraordinary!
The yacht's accommodation includes a private cabin with a double bed, the salon has 5 single beds, and the front cabin has one single and two double beds. All meals and snorkel equipment is included or perhaps you would like just to come aboard this sail and snorkeling trip with a great book and enjoy the serenity and the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef from the decks.

Booking Information

Pickup or Departure Point Details:
D Finger, Marlin Marina (located within a 10 minute walk of Cairns city centre accommodation)
Optional Extras:
35 minute Introductory (no experience necessary) - $60 for the first dive then $50 for consecutive dives
Certified SCUBA Diving for $45 per dive or $160 for 4 dives
Return Cairns and Cairns Beaches accommodation transfers are $10 or $50 per booking respectively.
